Celebrated Janmashtami/Gokulashtami on August 23, 2019 in SDJ International School, Palsana. Janmashtami is a festival that denotes the birth of Lord Krishna. It also depicts his childish pranks that he played in his childhood and youth. Our Principal, Insiyah Bhatia Ma’am along with all the Teachers and students started the celebration with ‘Pooja and Aarti’ of ‘Shree Krishna’ followed by Bhakti songs by Students and Teachers, accompanied with a powerful band, which made the atmosphere truly positive and spiritual. Primary and Pre-primary children came in traditional dresses.Boys came dressed as ‘Krishna’ and girls came dressed as ‘Radha’. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more Vibrant. Children danced on the tune of garba. A ‘Matki Phod’ event was also organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’. Last but not the least; a motivational speech was delivered by our beloved Principal who appreciated the children for their participation and performance. Wishing you all a very Happy Janmashtami!
